On this day a year ago, My heart was shattered.
Ever since then I've tried to hide it, push my true feelings deep down into my subconscious, believing myself too weak to come to terms with them. For too long I let a singular act of misfortune run my life. For too long I put myself on the wrong path, saying "Your heart is a broken mess, so no one will have the slightest chance to even touch it again."

Today, I'm strong, and more than able to face the long winding road before me. Today I am the person that has eluded me, only to find I was only keeping myself from. Today, I know what love is and will not hesitate to kill to protect what I believe in. I didn't get here on my own of course, so I also just wanna say a very serious, sincere "Thank you" to those few who have shown me that I am what I am, and there is nothing to fear, but rather to celebrate. You know who you are.

Today is a day of Celebration. Today I revel in the fact that my heart and mind is stronger than it's ever been before, and that despite all the trials and tribulations, nothing has stopped me, and nothing will. Today's a revolution.
